The FaerieWylde webring is for faerie artists to show off their work and share their faerie visions with others. It is an artist's ring- that means that sites here may please you or amaze you, stimulate or astound you, but there will always be something wonderful to see!

Requirements:

Your website should have something to do with faeries, pixies, elves, sprites, and/or other magical denizens of Faerieland. Your website should display your own original created artworks. Your artwork may be digitally produced, 3D rendered (Poser, Bryce, Vue etc.), painted, modeled, crafted, sculpted, photographed, or any other media - the only requirement on this is that you own the copyright and did not take it from other artists.

The rules for displayed artwork are simple, and the same as the Rules For Posting at FaerieWylde Forum:

1. No lewd display of genitals

2. No sexual contact, no sexual displays of any kind

3. No rape or torture of any creature, living or dead.

4. No nude photographs of minors or images apparently derived from nude photographs of minors

We also do NOT allow:

- collection sites (websites that show *collected from the internet* artwork that belongs to other artists)

- websites that offer websets, stationary, tubes or nozzles made from other artist's work (with or without permission)

::Please download one of our Ringlogos, upload it to your own webspace and replace the default webring logo with the one of your choice. If you do not know how to costumize the Ringfragment please ask the Ringfaerie faesmile

. The ringlogo will not show on your website when you do not change the ringcode like in the next posting described. Please make sure to read the instructions!

::IMPORTANT - Place the ringfragment on the page you have submitted to the webring. If your ringfragment is placed on any other page the ringchecker will not be able to find it and your website cannot be added to the webring.

::The Ringfaerie will add your website to the Faeriering as soon she has checked that everything is in the right place.

How to change the img URL

Once you have submitted your website to the ring, you will have a RingID assigned to your website and the HTMLcode is generated automatically and mailed to you. Please make sure to have the ringlogo of your choice uploaded to your webspace and edit the image URL to point to your own webspace. Below is an example of the ringcode and the part of the ringcode you would have to edit.

The code I received had the ID listed as 0. I'm fixing it now, but you might want to adjust the code on Ringsurf so that it puts in the correct SiteID automatically. Wink

Bonni, I just noticed that but I do not find a feature at Ringsurf where I could adjust that. I think I remember it usually adds the ID automatically, but there is only the option to change the complete HTMLcode.

Yes, that's what you have to do. There's a variable you use in the code on the server... Let's see....

id=***SITE ID***

Ah, there, that's it. When Ringsurf encounters that in the code, it'll put in the site ID instead. Smile

Aaah, that's it. I changed the default HTML code to the one I wanted to have (took one of their examples) and it put this siteID=0 into the code. Ok, I will go and change it. Thank you hug

it takes a while to get it set up, since Friederike is doing this all by her self Sad

But I just want to say that she has done a wonderful job with this, and we REALLY REALLY appreciate all the work she has done! And thanks also to Mada for the really cool graphics Wink
